Cathrine Clutch, Gold


Hand painted wood in the southern state Guerrero, in Mexico, where artisans use an aromatic wood named “Linaloe”. This freehand painting technique dates from colonial times and expresses the beauty and color that surrounds the area where they live, after the painting process the artisans create the metal structure for the clutch and the stones that will be part of the design. Handmade in limited quantities. 


About the designer:

Trained by the GIA, this designer studied fine jewelry design with the Van Cleef Arpels design team in Beverly Hills before returning home to Mexico City to start his own business. 20 years later he makes exquisitely designed jewelry with perfectly polished metals and precious stones.
