100% Love for Zero Waste Daniel

Hermes Mushroom Bag

Meet Daniel, a New York designer operating on the core value of ending textile waste. Daniel uses pre-consumer waste sourced from New York's garment district to construct ethical and stylish activewear and accessories.

He makes most pieces in the heart of Brooklyn, however the brand also collaborates with contractors across the City who set their own fair wages. Their items are made to order and all available in genderless styles. Read more in Forbes.

The Mission to Emit Less Emissions

Adidas and Allbirds have teamed up for a collaboration for the future.Together they have created the blueprint for a running shoe to be manufactured with 63% less carbon dioxide emissions.

So cool, it's hot!

The FUTURECRAFT.FOOTPRINT is a 12-month initiative to reimagine the supply chain processes and get carbon impact as close to zero as possible.

We love a zero waste goal!

Good News and Gratitude

Thank you to Gabby Rasson – the woman claiming credit for coining the term “Cheugy”. We’re so confused, but doing our best to not stay on top of the trends? Apparently denim jackets and graphic tees might be out, but we're just amused by the word itself. Read more about this in Grazia.

Thank you to the introverts. We see you, and so do Amy Parker and Gina Pell, founders of The What Alliance. They've brought together a group of awesome women who agree the best leaders are introverts. Although we expect extroverts to win in this department, introverts tend to be more thoughtful and courteous, making for amazing leaders.

Thank you to @jenniferjusticeleague who's an expert negotiator who you can hire to get that raise or close a new deal. She taught us that the #1 thing you can do today is support a woman, shop her store, or fund her business. She's got an empowering company called The Justice Department that we suggest everyone check out.

And most of all, THANK YOU for reading and connecting with us. We are so grateful to each of you for supporting sustainable fashion and riding this wave with us. We'll be back next week – same time, different couch.
